Green Acres Kennel

Ms. Rosie and I had a wonderful time in the out and about class. I can’t begin to tell you (although I know I’ve mentioned it more than once!) how much we love your outdoor space. It’s really wonderful for us to have this opportunity. Thanks to you and Christina, I feel Rosie and I are a lot further ahead with our understanding of each other and are building a positive relationship in the great outdoors :) We hope to have more opportunities to do that this summer.

We have a Great Pyrenees show quality dog who is gradually rising in AKC-sanctioned competitions. Although our breed group and Kennel Club can supply handling classes to train performance in the dog ring, we found that the early puppy classes at Green Acres were invaluable.

?Thanks to the training from Lois and Kate, our puppy was well-socialized and able to handle the interaction in tight spaces among other dogs and human handlers outside of the show ring. She conducts herself perfectly even in hotel corridors (highly recommend BringFido.com if you travel with your dog and need pet-friendly hotels). Even experienced canine handlers complement her behavior and manners.

Green Acres puppy training system has made it so much easier to take her to the next level of training specific to AKC showing. Most dogs are not going on the show circuit and we cannot think of a better way to prepare a family companion dog than the Green Acres puppy program. As

I haven't seen my human in a week...she has been sick :( But, Green Acres Kennel Shop has taken great care of me!!!!! I love playing there and being silly!!! I am going home today and helping to pack for my first big move! I'm going to live in Massapawsetts and I hear it is going to be amazing...I'll be near all my puppy cousins like, Usher and Buddy and Oskar and Coco!!!!! OH, the playing and walking that will happen will be EPIC! I hear they also have endless sidewalks...what are sidewalks??? So, much to learn and see!! I will miss my pupperpals here and watching the ISS fly overhead in the early mornings with my human...I will make sure she posts some photos of us soon though! We are new to the area and Green Acres was recommended to us for our dog. He is new to us (and life in general) so had a lot of puppy traits like being overly excited and chewing on everything. We expected him to just have a stay at the kennel, but since he has been home he is much calmer and better behaved! It appears like they did more than just let him outside, but they must have played with him and loved him and trained him. It is very comforting that he is not showing signs of anxiety after being away for so long and he will definitely be going back there when we go on vacation next time. We just finished puppy classes and basic manners and loved it! Kate was very knowledgeable and helpful with specific questions. Offering suggestions that may help and demonstrating what she was talking about. All of the staff were friendly and helpful as well. We plan to take our pup there for grooming and boarding when we eventually go away overnight, he loves going there! Today in my thanks I must include Green Acres and the wonderful staff. Earlier this month I was hospitalized on short notice while our blue-tick beagle Zoey was in day care at Green Acres. One phone call to them to ask that she stay the night was all it took, and my wife and I knew that she was in good hands, safe, warm, and well-fed. The hospital stay lasted three nights and I'm fine now, with gratitude for the loving folks who watched over our little girl-dog. And yesterday I received a "get well" card, signed by everyone at Green Acres. Very sweet! Thanks again for the care Zoey has gotten over the past nine years. Our Lizzy attends doggie daycare every day and she's been boarded there. Everyone is great! They love her and she them. She plays hard and gets plenty of time for exercise. She's had a ton of GI problems, they've honored our choice for her diet and their daily treats/snacks are natural and have never caused issues. We love this place and these people!  ? No one else has our trust when it comes to taking exceptional care of our fur baby Mr Bentley! We initially were very cautious as we have had not-so-great experiences with other kennels in the area. But wow! The people at Green Acres are the BEST!  ? They are hard-working, dedicated, and truly care about the pets and the people! I just wanted to Thank Don and his crew for a wealth of outstanding advice regarding our next member of the family. I stopped in hoping to ask a few questions and Don gave me all the time in the world, answering question after question, and really and truly helping my family decide the right dog for our family need. His tips and comments reveal a wealth of knowledge, canine understanding and lifetime of experience.
