The Job
A Customer Service Associate is responsible for primary client contact and acts as a liaison between the client and the animal care staff. This position is responsible for checking in and checking out boarding and grooming animals, the scheduling of boarding, grooming and training clients, answering the phone and greeting and assisting clients with purchases. This position includes advising on different foods and supplies, interfacing with groomers and pet care associates regarding the instructions, health and general well-being of pets in our care, running the cash drawer and credit card machines and end of day reports. Employment Opportunity-Pet Care Technician |

We are currently advertising for two positions; a part time Pet Care Technician and a part time Customer Service Associate. There is the potential for this to be combined into a single full time position for the right candidate.

Pet Care Technician – Part Time to Full Time
The Job
A Pet Care Technician is responsible for caring for our many guests, primarily dogs and cats. This care will involve cleaning resting and play areas, feeding, medicating, and supervising play activities. Some customer service and retail duties may also be assigned. The job is very physical in nature and the ability to lift 50 pounds is required. Work will occur both indoors and outdoors throughout the year in good and bad weather. Paula and I have always believed that it is important to give back to our community. Over the years we have provided support to numerous organizations and individuals that have had a cause or a need that touched our hearts.
The organizations and individuals that we have supported over the years range anywhere from animal shelters and individual benefit auctions to senior centers and food drives. .In some cases our donations are on a regular schedule, in other case they are one-time events. Our donations are often in the form of gift bags or gift vouchers for services and products at Green Acres. It is our preference to give to local organizations that focus on helping animals, children, seniors and the environment; organizations that support social justice and that do not discriminate. We also do what we can to support individuals and families with a special need that are friends, friends of friends or clients.

Policy on Requests for Printed Advertising |

As a business, Green Acres advertises its services andproducts through several different media, ranging from television and radio, tosmall, community printed publications. It is not unusual for several differentgroups to ask us to market our business with them throughout the year. In order for us to objectively andfairly evaluate each advertising proposal that we receive we ask that all suchoffers be in writing and on the letterhead of the applicable organization. Each offer should include:
- An overview of the organization and its publication.
- How you or your organization is familiar withGreen Acres Kennel Shop.
- A current rate sheet.
- A sample of previous yearbooks/programs/etc. that the organization has produced.
- An estimate of how many copies of our ad will be printed and how many people willpotentially see it.
- A list of two other businesses that have advertised with you in the past andreferences
